The connection between rapper Badshah and Pakistani actor Hania Aamir has been the focus of rumours for a while. When Hania posted a video from one of Badshah’s concerts on her Instagram Stories, the controversy took off. However, Badshah addressed the accusations and dispelled them in a recent exchange at Sahitya AajTak 2024, making it clear that their relationship is only platonic.

“Hania is a very good friend of mine, and we share a great connection,” Badshah shared while discussing his rapport with the actor. “We have a lot of fun whenever we meet, and that’s all there is to it. She is happy in her life, and I am in mine. Our equation is wonderful, but people often misinterpret it and see what they want to believe,” he said at Sahitya AajTak 2024.
Hania also talked about prior romance rumours
Hania also responded to the rumours in an interview with BBC Asian Network in May. “There are moments when I believe that being single is my only issue. I wouldn’t have to deal with so many of these rumours if I was,” she said.
She commended Badshah’s grounded demeanour and called him a “great friend”. “Aside from his Badshah character, he is such a kind, straightforward human being. One thing we have in common is that he is real. He checks in and asks, “What’s wrong?” if I’m depressed or not using social media, she revealed.

The two often share snippets of their interactions on Instagram, especially when they meet up in Dubai. Hania recently posted a video of herself and Badshah making a playful bowing motion together, with the rapper folding his hands. After congratulating him and referring to him as “an absolute rockstar” and “a hero,” Hania gave him a big hug. “That’s my beautiful friend!” she said as the caption for the video. Badshah replied to her post by reposting it on his Instagram Stories along with the touching message, “Sabko pata hai rockstar kaun hai (you) (Everyone knows who the rockstar is),” along with a folded hands emoji.
Hania was also seen at the London performance of musician Diljit Dosanjh last month, where Badshah and the Punjabi singer shared the stage. Later, the rapper shared a number of images on Instagram that included photos of Diljit and Hania as well as other moments from the performance.
Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, Badshah’s birth name, was previously wed to Jasmine Masih. Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, the couple’s daughter, was born in January 2017 after they were married in 2012. But in 2020, they made the decision to split up.
