Apart from the deadly virus that claims more than 100 lives, more disturbing reports are emerging about how people in China deal with the outbreak. Reports indicate that some people are deliberately trying to infect the virus by spitting on it.
Disturbing footage recorded on CCTV at a hospital shows infected patients coughing and licking objects kept on a table of receptions.

Speaking to Metro UK, Jessika Bailing, 23, who works as a teacher in Wuhan, said, “We are all so afraid to go outside, I avoided it for as long as I could. I went on a supply run, it was so terrifying. I covered myself with gloves on my hands from head to toe, glasses to cover my eyes and, of course, my mask.”
She added, “I’ve heard shocking stories of people infected going out of their way to contaminate others by removing their masks and spitting in the faces of doctors.”
“We’ve been told that the virus can stay on objects for some time, so I made sure to wash all the items I purchased from the store, including packets of crisps, water bottles, chocolate bars and even coffee sachets,” she said.
Apart from the alleged news of people infecting each other, another horrific, albeit unverified, video leaked from a Wuhan hospital shows dead bodies lying unattended in a corridor, with sick people on the side.

Huge public hygiene crisis seems to have erupted in #Wuhan. This video clip was once posted on Weibo but now deleted. The lady in the clip says dead bodies were left at hospital aisles untreated whereas doctors are taking care of other patients alongside them. #WuhanPneumonia pic.twitter.com/8ARaEHDbXC

The woman who filmed the video claims officials conceal the true scale of the epidemic, holding casualty figures artificially low, according to the Daily Mail.
