Nature has its ways of exacting vengeance on humans, as evidenced by a recent case. A daily wager named Shiva Kewat from Shivpuri’s Sumela Hamlet has reportedly been conducting a weird struggle with the murder of crows for the past three years.
Isn’t that hilarious? Imagine being assaulted by birds every time you leave your house…is it still amusing? No, I don’t believe so.
Every time Shiva leaves the house, he must examine the sky to see if he is about to be attacked by a single crow or a swarm of crows.
It turns out that his strange anxiety is justified, as he has been attacked by crows every time he leaves the house for the past three years, as a form of vengeance by the birds.
What are you seeking vengeance for? Well, it’s unfortunate, because all Kewat did was try to save a chick, which ended up dying in his hands, provoking the birds’ wrath.
“It passed away in my hands.” If only I could explain to them that all I wanted to do was help,” says Kewat, who now carries a stick with him at all times to defend himself, but never hits a crow. “All I do is wave it around to scare them away.” They think I killed the girl, poor things,” he told TOI.Crows are known for remembering those who have offended them, and while this may seem strange, it is undeniably true. They’ve also been known to conspire with other crows and launch vicious attacks on individuals who have insulted them!
We can’t help but feel sorry for this man who was only trying to help. Maybe not every nice deed is rewarded!
