
A man described his recent visit to Apollo Hospital in Sarita Vihar as “absolutely disgusting.” Gajender Yadav was seen by the doctor’s assistant even though he had scheduled a consultation with a senior physician. To exacerbate the situation, the senior physician instructed the assistant, talked briefly about Yadav’s condition, and then departed.

Yadav wrote about his experience on social media, and it has now received over 1.3 million views. “Paid Rs 2300 for a consultation with a prominent physician at Apollo Hospital Sarita Vihar. The assistant arrived and spent ten to fifteen minutes discussing the situation. The senior physician arrived later. spoke with his assistant about the matter. In the meantime, his assistant offered advice on what to do and what not to do. “Where is the senior doctor’s knowledge, advice, and experience?” Yadav wrote.

“What kind of behaviour is this?” he asked, tagging Apollo Hospitals.
“Very terrible,” he said, before continuing, “Who is going to tell us that the consultation fee is for the assistant and not the senior physician? We scheduled a consultation with a top physician in advance.
Many began defending Yadav’s social media post when it became popular. “I didn’t see why this act was being justified. This is very easy. “I paid for the senior doctor’s diagnosis,” he added.
