Recently, Diljit Dosanjh responded appropriately to Andrew Tate’s discriminatory remark that he “stinks like curry.” With a hilarious twist, the well-known musician won over fans with his light-hearted attitude by posting a curry-cooking clip on Instagram.
Diljit has been enthralling audiences in India since his recent performance in Delhi. Following his international Dil-Luminati tour, he carried on his custom of giving his jacket to supporters. This time, he gave it to a female admirer, which led to a viral moment. Western influencer Andrew Tate, however, attempted to dampen the atmosphere with the statement, “I bet it smells like curry,” which many people found insulting.
In typical Diljit fashion, he refrained from speaking to Tate directly. Instead, he shared a funny voiceover that gently but effectively communicated his message in a cookery video of himself making the Indian food Kadai Paneer on Diwali. He didn’t specifically identify Tate, but the video was regarded as a witty, humorous reaction.
Following Andrew Tate’s racist remark, Adnan Sami defended Diljiet Dosanjh:
Singer Adnan Sami also supported Diljit, retorting sharply to Tate’s remark that the jacket “smelt of love” and denouncing Tate’s legal issues. He mentioned Tate’s recent house detention due to significant misbehaviour charges.
“WRONG… IT SMELLED OF ‘LOVE’ & THE BEST PART WAS THAT NONE OF THE AUDIENCE MEMBERS WERE ‘RA–STS’ NOR ‘CHILD TRAFFICKERS’ LIKE WHAT YOU’RE ACCUSED OF & ARRESTED FOR, WHICH SURELY SMELLS OF SHIT!! So STFU!”
Widespread admiration was given to Diljit’s clever reaction and Sami’s assistance. How do you feel about Diljit’s snarky reply to Tate’s remark?
