6. How to sit correctly
Good posture and location of the leg are important while sitting. Don’t put one leg over the other if you’re sitting in a low armchair. Keep your knees and arms parallel to each other. You can also use the “Cambridge Cross” royal trick— put one foot behind the other, crossing your ankles. It might help you feel like a queen.
7. At a restaurant
When you say to your friend, “I invite you,” before you go to a restaurant, it means you will pay. The expression “Let’s go together to a restaurant” means you’re just paying for yourself.

Don’t pour too much and don’t overfill wine glasses to prevent spilling your drink on your shoes.
9. The most important rules for drinking tea
According to the etiquette rules, people invite each other for a cup of tea to get to know a person better and have a nice conversation. You’re not allowed to refuse the offer, it can be considered rude. Only remember a couple of rules.
- Stir the tea carefully without making the teaspoon sounds.
- You are not supposed to leave your spoon in the cup. Rest on your saucer’s edge. On top of the saucer, you should never drop the knife.
One hand holds a teacup and the other arm holds a saucer. Holding a cup with 2 hands and leaving the saucer on the plate is unpolitical.
