On-screen romances are typically so cute and stunning that we wonder if celebrities’ love stories are as sweet in real life as they are in the film. However, experience has shown that certain real-life romances are so unbelievable that they should have been written by a screenwriter.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski were introduced in 2008 by Blunt’s co-star from The Devil Wears Prada and close friend Anne Hathaway, and have been happily married and raising two children since then. The three of them remain close friends. Krasinski once joked that he married Blunt only because he “couldn’t get Annie.”
3. Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth
Elsa Pataky revealed in one of their interviews that she and Chris Hemsworth first met on a blind date. “Neither of us had ever met before. It was our dialect coach who supported all of us with our accents. As a result, this lady began to speak to us about each other. Finally, she persisted to the point where I said, ‘Well, let’s meet.’ We spoke on the phone and met,” Pataky explained.

“My first date with my husband started badly,” Salma Hayek said of her first date with her current husband.
“I had no idea it was a date. I figured I was going to a party, but there was only one person there. Friends pretended I was attending an event because they knew I wouldn’t go on a date!

Rande Gerber had an advantage in this situation because he knew who Cindy Crawford was before they met. “I knew who she was, and I knew she was beautiful,” he said. Crawford’s agent, Michael Gruber, a friend of Gerber’s, invited Gerber to accompany Crawford to his wedding, which Gerber gladly accepted.

Sarah Michelle Gellar posted the story of her and Freddie Prinze Jr.’s first date on Instagram, and if that wasn’t fate, what is? “[Freddie] and I were expected to have dinner with a mutual friend from out of town,” Gellar explained. Despite the fact that my friend had missed her flight, we decided to meet and catch up.
