We’re talking about Manoj Muntashir, the songwriter for’ Teri Mitti.’ No doubt Manoj has given us one of the most soulful patriotic songs to date. All he wants about his masterpiece is an appreciation. Manoj tweeted on Facebook to express his views.
Not only him there are 10 other celebrities who don’t visit Award Shows for certain reasons.
1. Aamir Khan
All have found that Mr Perfectionist is absent from award shows. There’s news, something similar happened earlier with him. For Rangeela he was expecting the actor of the year but Shah Rukh Khan took it for DDLJ.
2. Emraan Hashmi
After all his daring positions he set his moves in the industry. Yet, in an award show, no one ever spotted him. He feels the gratitude of viewers is worth more than those awards.
3. Ajay Devgn
Ajay is a name of great renown in the industry. He recently showed the industry his 100th film. Yet, for the last 15 years, he is not seen in any award show. Such series, he claims, are just tactics for making money and are also unjust. He believes awards are given for profit rather than talent.
4. Kangana Ranaut
Kangana is an extremely fierce actress. She believes in being honest, however wild it may become. She said when asked about it she had better things to do than wasting time watching them. She also trusts in her work and in the feedback from the viewer.
5. Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is known for his immense effort and commitment to his work. He continued to break the industry’s various taboos. Obtaining a prize is one of them. He stays away from this company and assigns due importance to an analysis by his audience.
6. Akshay Kumar
Akshay is the industrially most honest person. After receiving an award himself he chose not to go to such events. In reality, he said he was not deserving and there were better choices.
7. Tapsee Pannu
Tapsee visited the show but seldom. Even after offering the very best performance in movies like’ pink’ she was angry about being sidelined. Even she does not support those tactics of making money.
8. Sridevi
Our legend perished. Following a betrayal, she gave up on the award shows. She was promised the best actor award for ‘English Vinglish’ but the final moment the decision changed. After this, she became very angry and upset.
9. John Abraham
John was nominated quite a couple of times. But those shows don’t favour his views. He made it clear that these shows are just a thing of entertainment, and are rarely authentic.
10. Sunny Deol
The hugely popular Bollywood name. After an unexpected decision, he also stopped being a part of those award shows. He didn’t like the sidelines of his very popular movie’ Border’ and the award given to’ Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ from SRK.
