As she ‘probably would have deleted’ all of her previous adult film recordings by now if she could, Lana Rhoades has revealed why.

At the age of 19, the 27-year-old American resident of Chicago began working in the adult film industry.

Rhoades, whose actual name is Amara Maple, departed the company not even a year later to pursue a different career, but her previous adult film recordings are still publicly accessible on the internet.

In a June 2021 ‘Tap In’ podcast interview, Rhoades said that she had relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 19. Rhoades is the star of the YouTube channel Too Hot To Handle.

She tells Jowsey that she spent “eight months on and off” in the business, working in “four-month increments,” after being flown there by an agent to shoot p*rnographic videos.

Her eyes were opened to the world of influence, though, when she met a YouTuber who was earning “$15,000 to post a picture with a Jeep” on Instagram.

“And I was like, ‘Wow, I get paid $1,200 to do this disgusting Bold scene, why the f**k am I doing this?'” Says Rhoades.

She made her decision to quit the profession at that point, but what does she think of the old videos she left behind?

Unfortunately, Rhoades’ ascent to prominence on P*rnHub coincided with the development of her own Instagram following and influencer business, making it difficult for her to completely leave her prior position behind.

Nor did she profit monetarily from the spike in traffic that her Instagram account generated for P*rnhub.

Rhoades clarifies: “So P*rnHub, a lot of the videos I have no rights under over or otherwise I probably would have deleted them all by now.”

Rhoades answers when asked if she regrets appearing in the videos, saying, “I do, I honestly tell people if I could go back I would give up everything to have my dignity and respect back and for people to not be able to see me in that way.”

Furthermore, Rhoades has previously made disparaging remarks about her experiences in the adult film business.

She denounced the p*rn*graphic film industry as “100% fake” in 2022 and charged that those involved were treating actresses like “circus acts.”

She continued by saying that she doesn’t “even like having Bold” and is “pretty much as*x*al.”
