The demand for Hindi dubbed versions of South Indian films has skyrocketed with the success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali flicks.

The Hindi voices of these South Indian actors are usually dubbed by experienced voiceover artists, and in some cases, the makers enlist the help of well-known Bollywood actors to offer Hindi voiceovers for the South Indian actors.

Sanket Mhatre, a well-known voiceover artist, regularly dubbed Allu Arjun’s voice in the Hindi dubbed versions of his films that air on television.

Shreyas Talpade

However, Bollywood star Shreyas Talpade of the Golmaal franchise and Iqbal fame was cast in Allu Arjun’s current epic spectacle Pushpa: The Rise. Yes, Shreyas Talpade is the actor who plays Allu Arjun in the Hindi version of Pushpa.

According to reports, he will now also do the voiceover for Allu Arjun in his forthcoming Hindi blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which will be released in 2020.

While Shreyas Talpade’s voiceover was well received, actor Sharad Kelkar’s voiceover for Prabhas in the Baahubali movie was possibly the most renowned Hindi voiceover for a South Indian film. His voice was perfect for the character and added to the Hindi version of the film.

Sanket Mhatre has also provided the Hindi voices for Mahesh Babu in Choodan (The Real Tiger), Srimanthudu (The Real Tevar), and Aagadu (Encounter Shankar), as well as Suriya in Jai Bheem, Soorarai Pottru, and Kaappaan.

NTR Jr. and Ram Pothineni have also used Sanket’s voiceover services.

Manoj Pandey is a voiceover artist who has worked with Rana Daggubati on films such as Baahubali and Krishna Ka Badla.

Rajesh Kava

Rajesh Kava, a voiceover artist, has performed voiceovers for Vijay in most of his dubbed Hindi films, including Velayudham (Superhero Shahenshah), as well as Dhanush in films like Thanga Magan.

In films such as Arya 2, Power, Rebel, and Kandireega, voiceover artist Vinod Kulkarni has dubbed for famed comic actor Brahmanandam.

Ajay Devgn is perhaps the most famous actor to have supplied his voice for a dubbed Hindi film. He provided the Hindi dubbing for Ram Charan’s Dhruva.

Arbaaz Khan

Arbaaz Khan performed the Hindi voiceover for the antagonist played by Arvind Swamy in the film.
