Shah Rukh Khan, referred to as the “King of Bollywood” by many, is more than just an actor. His influence extends far beyond the motion picture industry. Khan stands out from other actors because he can portray various characters, from romantic heroes to fervent anti-heroes. He gained a large following in India and other countries thanks to his remarkable charm, charisma, and on-screen character.
Viewers worldwide have had excellent experiences with his flicks. Khan has won various awards, including France’s prestigious Légion d’honneur. He is also one of the world’s most significant and powerful people. Shah Rukh Khan just won the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera, popularly known as the Career Leopard, at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. Amazingly, he was the first Indian to receive the honour.
But the reaction that Shah Rukh Khan gave at the awards ceremony is what went viral. And to think of it, Google has to concede.
During the Locarno Film Festival, Shah Rukh Khan made a Google comment that went viral:
SRK was cordially welcomed by film festival organisers and his ardent admirers. Throughout the talk, he touched on a wide range of topics, including his personal life, his wife, his kids, and his well-known Bollywood career. In the midst of this, SRK said something funny like,
For those who don’t know me, leave, google me, and then come back.
Then, he gave a brief introduction, stating,
I am Shah Rukh Khan, 51 years old, I work in Indian films, mostly Hindi.
The audience exploded in thunderous applause at this point. Since then, a lot of people have shared his video on social media, and admirers have praised his legacy.

SRK is scheduled to feature in the following film, King:
The Locarno Film Festival, one of the world’s oldest film festivals, was established in 1946 with an emphasis on auteur cinema. The 77th edition of the festival features 225 films, including 104 world premieres and 15 debuts. The film festival also featured a screening of SRK’s legendary film Devdas. He’ll star in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming movie, “King,” soon. SRK stated during the Locarno Film Festival that he was working on the movie, saying,
I finished ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ last year. Now, there’s a certain kind of film I want to do. Maybe it’s more age-centric and something I’ve been pursuing for over seven years. One day, I mentioned it to Sujoy Ghosh in my office. He said, ‘Sir, I have a subject.’
It is anticipated that Suhana Khan will portray the lead role in King, with Abhishek Bachchan portraying a villainous role. More details about the film have not yet been made public.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think SRK was always hilarious, or is this just another one of his marketing gimmicks? Please feel free to leave a comment below this post with your ideas.
