Murray Blackmore achieved notoriety after posting a video on TikTok about his family. Murray relates anecdotes about his odd family after leaving the community where he was reared with his 150 siblings as the 65th child of polygamist Winston Blackmore. In the sheltered gated town of Bountiful, Canada, the self-proclaimed Music Producer was raised as a “Mormon.” Winston, Winston’s father, is the founder of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Winston, in particular, has a total of 27 wives. Murray, who goes by the TikTok handle @kayezer0, quickly learned how intrigued people were after his first video went viral. He requested that people send him more questions.

Murray revealed in one of his films that the eldest sibling is 44 years old and the youngest sibling is only one year old. Murray’s parents chose names beginning with the same letter for all of their children born in the same year, thus he knows the names of all of his siblings. Murray, for example, was born in 2001, the same year as his brothers and sisters, thus they all have names that begin with M.

Polygamy is definitely a contentious topic, but it was outlawed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) in 1890. Despite this, a few conservative Mormons choose to have several spouses. In some countries, the problem is remedied by legally marrying one lady and having other women serve as spiritual wives.
