Actress Hansika Motwani has, at last, responded to the outrageous rumours that when she was younger, her mother Mona gave her hormone injections to help her grow more quickly. When asked about the rumours, the actress responded that it was a “cost of being a celebrity.” At the age of 21, she claimed that many people published “crap” about her. The rumours were addressed by Hansika Motwani, who had a lengthy conversation with her mother, Mona Motwani, about them.
Hansika, who began her acting career as a child actor, appeared in the movies Koi Mil Gaya and the hit television series Shaka Laka Boom Boom. But, when Motwani made appearances in films a few years later, her fans were taken aback by how rapidly the actress had matured. Many people at the time accused Hansika’s mother of injecting her daughter with hormones.

Addressing the rumours on her show Love Shaadi Drama, the actress said,
“This is the expense of being a celebrity. They wrote such crap when I was 21, you know what I am talking about. If I could have taken it that time, I can take it this time. This time is nothing. Everyone wrote I have taken injections to grow up.”
Motwani continued,
“When I was eight, then I became an actress, people said that my mum has given me injections, hormonal injections to grow up as a woman.”

Hansika’s mother Mona further added,
“If that is true, then I must be richer than Tata, Birla. If that is true, then I would have said, ‘Tum bhi aao, aa kar apni haddi baddi karvao (You also come to me and help yourself grow taller)..“
Mona Motwani continued,
“What I am surprised about is that people who write this, Unke pass dimaag naam ki cheez nahi hoti hai kya (Don’t they have common sense)? We are Punjabi people, our daughters shoot up between the age of 12 and 16.”
On the broadcast, Hansika addressed the trolls that she had also encountered when the news of her engagement to Sohael Khaturiya made headlines. After hearing that she had attended Sohael’s first wedding, the actress reacted in the same way and lashed out at everybody who had teased her.

On December 4 of the previous year, Motwani married her lifelong friend Sohael Khaturiya. The couple’s wedding was a well-attended affair that took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The theme of Hansika’s show Love Shaadi Drama is the period during which she and Sohael prepared for their wedding up until the big day.
