Is there anything worse than telling a joke? It’s the point at which someone’s misreading of a joke sticks with them. People on social media adore being snarky and making subtle comments about things. However, there are always some who innocently correct the obvious remarks and completely miss the meaning. It’s time for another instalment of the very popular r/Woooosh Subreddit, which has about a million members. The organisation, which was founded in 2016, makes fun of people who have embarrassed themselves in public because they didn’t get obvious jokes. Some of these occurrences are extreme, while others are simply entertaining in their own right. A handful of them relocated in such a way that the joke they had missed became even better as a result. Nonetheless, it’s hard to read this collection without cringing or laughing out loud.
