This results in a massive worldwide fan following. Indian cricketers are extremely talented and thus, apart from cricket, honourable government jobs have also been granted to a few players.

1. Mahendra Singh Dhoni


Mahendra Singh Dhoni has no doubt been Indian cricket team’s most effective captain ever.

2. Sachin Tendulkar

Indian Cricket Team’s fast-paced bowler, Umesh Yadav, was honoured with assistant manager role at Reserve Bank Of India.

6. Joginder Singh Sharma

Joginder Singh Sharma was a member of the Twenty20 World Cup-winning team in 2007. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has assigned him the task of bowling the last over in the match against Pakistan. He was rewarded by the Haryana government with the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police for his contribution to the Indian victory.
