The “Dystopian Apartment,” a skyscraper in China, has recently gained popularity on TikTok. Surprisingly, it can accommodate up to 30,000 people. Besides the amazing interior and unique design, the drone video uploaded by @fatheristheone attracted attention. Others were shocked to see footage that eloquently conveyed the structure’s enormity.
What are the features of the Dystopian Apartment?

The Regent International, dubbed the “dystopian” apartment, is situated in Qianjiang Century City, namely in Hangzhou’s main commercial centre. The building was constructed by Alicia Loo, the chief architect of the Singapore Sands Hotel, a seven-star establishment that debuted in 2013.
The building is currently home to almost 20,000 people and is 675 feet tall. 36 or 39 stories make up this S-shaped edifice, depending on which side you are on.
Given the sheer number of people living in one massive building, it should come as no surprise that it is one of Earth’s most densely populated places.
