According to his representative, Johnny Depp expected to make a lot of money from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” picture, which did not materialise — a huge decision that would reflect his damages.

On Monday, Jack Whigham (JD’s former agent and current expertise supervisor) testified. On Johnny’s behalf, Johnny’s authorised staff continued to summon witnesses. Whigam was also asked about what he felt Amber Heard was saying.

Whigham believes that Johnny misplaced his role in the sixth instalment of “Pirates”… a role that would have paid JD $22.5 million, according to him.

Whigham, on the other hand, stated that the supposed arrangement was not anything he had gotten in writing. Amber’s team, on the other hand, grabbed on it — yet, as he defined it, that isn’t how the business works.

Whigham added that these discussions with high-profile celebrities and huge studios, particularly when it comes to franchises, are frequently conducted verbally first. He also stated that studios frequently sign what an actor may count on for the next chapter, assuming one occurs.

Whigham alleges that ‘Pirates 6’ was intended to be shot with Johnny in a significant part — obviously, Jack Sparrow being the main character — but that production was halted after Amber’s WaPo editorial.

Amber is suing Johnny for $50 million in damages. He seems to have a lot more money than the $22.5 million he claimed he lost. Over time, the jury will decide who they believe.
