If there is talk of a family’s status in Bollywood, then it is the Kapoor family. This family has been contributing to Hindi cinema not from today but since 1928 and till now we have seen 5 generations of the Kapoor family on the big screen. Prithviraj Kapoor was the first actor in the Kapoor family. He started his acting career by acting in the theatres of Lyallpur and Peshawar. In the year 1928, he moved to Bombay City and during that time he acted as an extra in his first film ‘Do Dhari Talwar’.
Prithviraj Kapoor – Ramsarni Mehra Kapoor
Although Prithviraj Kapoor’s father has also been an artist, but Prithviraj Kapoor emerged as the first actor in Hindi cinema. Veteran actor Prithviraj Kapoor married 15-year-old Ramsarni Mehra when he was 17 years old. Prithviraj Kapoor came into films, but his wife never even thought of Bollywood. Raj Kapoor – Krishna Malhotra Kapoor

Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali Kapoor – Neela Devi Kapoor
