For twin day, Myles wanted to be twins with another child in his class, and he was adamant that they look exactly alike from the eyes to the hair!
Sir Darius Brown, 14, has been making elegant bows for dogs and cats at shelters since he was 12 years old in order to increase their chances of adoption.

Bridger, my six-year-old nephew, saved his little sister’s life on July 9th by standing between her and a charging dog.
“After being bitten in the face and head multiple times, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran beside her to keep her safe. “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me,” he subsequently stated. He’s finally resting at home after receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a talented plastic surgeon.”
They were instrumental in saving a man’s life!

“Because my sister Mary has Downs Syndrome, a lot of grade-school-aged kids may have avoided her or thought she was strange. Ben, though, is an exception. He was always on the lookout for her, making sure to include her on his recess squad, and even promising to take her to the prom in 4th grade. He delivered on his promise seven years later, bringing a smile to Mary’s face and restoring my trust in humanity. You two have a nice time at the prom!”
He averted a kidnapping attempt on an 18-year-old girl.

He observed three males seize an 18-year-old girl and try to get her into their van last week on the Bogside.
Most ADULTS would be frozen by astonishment, bewilderment, or panic, and would not act until it was too late. Tiernan moved quickly, yelling at the men and leading the girl away to safety. He then informed his mother, who contacted the police.
Allow that to sink in.
This may have been the beginning of a possibly heinous crime. That young lady could have been my child, my sister, your child, or a member of your family.
Tiernan was honoured with a PSNI Badge of Honour by the Bogside, Brandywell, and The Fountain Neighbourhood Teams (and some Malteasers). But this isn’t even close to covering the amount our community owes this young man. Our youth have a poor reputation, but remember that the vast majority of them, like Tiernan, are fearless and big-hearted.”
