The most innocent of youngsters may invariably result in amusing situations, if not outright fights. However, it frequently culminates in the most affecting or even mesmerising gestures of charity. Many adults say, “Kids are just kids,” but in many circumstances, the behaviours and utterances of small children are more illuminating. It was also discovered that children are sensitive to the needs of those around them and can provide relief.

These photographs have been created to highlight such beautiful moments and will undoubtedly brighten your day. From a 6-year-old who saved his tiny sister from a charging dog to a little boy who prevents the kidnapping of an 18-year-old female, this list illustrates that children really have the largest hearts and that humanity still has hope. “Update: My lovely nana died away peacefully in her home on August 9th. Please keep this lovely storey in your mind. It was supposed to convey love and charity, but many people have transformed it into something so negative.”

“I’m so proud of my son; he saw a boy balled up in a corner crying and went to console him, grab his hand, and walk him into the school!”

“After being bitten in the face and head multiple times, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran beside her to keep her safe. “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me,” he subsequently stated. He’s finally resting at home after receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a talented plastic surgeon.”

“Because my sister Mary has Downs Syndrome, a lot of grade-school-aged kids may have avoided her or thought she was strange. Ben, though, is an exception. He was always on the lookout for her, making sure to include her on his recess squad, and even promising to take her to the prom in 4th grade. He delivered on his promise seven years later, bringing a smile to Mary’s face and restoring my trust in humanity. You two have a nice time at the prom!”

He averted a kidnapping attempt on an 18-year-old girl.

“My name is Tiernan McCready, and I’m here to help you. This is how a hero appears.

He observed three males seize an 18-year-old girl and try to get her into their van last week on the Bogside.

Most ADULTS would be frozen by astonishment, bewilderment, or panic, and would not act until it was too late. Tiernan moved quickly, yelling at the men and leading the girl away to safety. He then informed his mother, who contacted the police.

Allow that to sink in.

This may have been the beginning of a possibly heinous crime. That young lady could have been my child, my sister, your child, or a member of your family.

Tiernan was honoured with a PSNI Badge of Honour by the Bogside, Brandywell, and The Fountain Neighbourhood Teams (and some Malteasers). But this isn’t even close to covering the amount our community owes this young man. Our youth have a poor reputation, but remember that the vast majority of them, like Tiernan, are fearless and big-hearted.”

“Parents scheduled a playdate because they hadn’t seen each other since childcare closed. When it was time to depart, I said:
