Instagram users were taken aback when a model from Kolkata posted a video of herself dancing in front of India Gate in Delhi while wearing a white towel. At a Durga Puja pandal, Sannati Mitra, who says she won the 2017 Miss Kolkata competition, was in a contentious picture with two other women wearing cleavage-baring tops.

Hemoshree Bhadra, who claims to have won the Miss Kolkata 2016 title, and Mitra became the targets of social media mockery because of their attire, which many people thought was unsuitable for a religious gathering.
The model-influencer’s latest video has drawn criticism because it shows her lip-syncing to a song from the popular Bollywood film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge while dancing in a white towel and slippers. She twirls and even opens the towel to reveal herself while a sizable group of people, including kids, watch in disbelief. Interestingly, Mitra’s video appears to be a reproduction of Kajol’s character dancing in her chamber while wearing a towel in the movie.

Take a look at the video here:
Happy International Men’s Day was written as a caption for the video. Greetings for International Men’s Day. “May your bravery, kindness, and empathy continue to inspire and motivate others,” she wrote.
In just two hours, the video had over 200,000 views, and the majority of viewers criticised her. Some of them sued her for “obscene” dancing in public, while others criticised her for employing “cheap tactics” to increase views.
Disapproval of Durga Puja attire:
In earlier Instagram pictures, Mitra was seen attending a Durga Puja pandal wearing a long black gown with a thigh-high slit, while her pal was clad in an orange minidress and knee-length boots. For the occasion, Bhadra opted for a low-cut top that exposed her cleavage. Social media users condemned the three women for improperly dressing at a religious location, calling all three ensembles “vulgar” and “indecent.”

Mitra captioned the Instagram photo, saying, “It was so Rebellious, we never thought it was possible, being a girl we always knew our body is ‘BAD,’ but life is like that it gives new examples and experiences [sic].”
