Miss Universe 2009 — Stefanía Fernández, Venezuela

Stefana Fernández Krupij, a Venezuelan journalist, model, and beauty queen who won the Miss Venezuela 2008 and Miss Universe 2009 crowns, was born on September 4, 1990. She became the first Miss Universe winner who was crowned by a fellow countryman, setting a Guinness World Record in the process.

Miss Universe 2010 — Ximena Navarrete, Mexico

After Lupita Jones in 1991, Navarrete (then known as “Jimena”) became the second Mexican representative to win Miss Universe on August 23, 2010. Both were unintentionally crowned in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States.

Miss Universe 2011 — Leila Lopes, Angola

Angolan model and beauty queen Leila Luliana da Costa Vieira Lopes Umenyiora (born 26 February 1986) was named Miss Universe 2011. She was the first Angolan woman to win Miss Universe; she had previously won Miss Angola UK 2010 and Miss Angola 2010.

Olivia Frances Culpo, an American model, actress, and social media influencer, was born on May 8, 1992. She has crowned Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012 after taking first place in the Miss Rhode Island USA pageant. USA – Cranston, Rhode Island

Miss Universe 2013 — Gabriela Isler, Venezuela

Mara Gabriela de Jess Isler Morales, a Venezuelan TV host, fashion model, and beauty queen, was named Miss Universe 2013 and placed as the sixth Miss Universe of her nation. She was born on March 21, 1988.

Miss Universe 2014 — Paulina Vega, Colombia

Paulina Vega Dieppa, a Colombian television host, model, and beauty queen who won the titles of Miss Colombia 2013 and Miss Universe 2014, was born on January 15, 1993. Vega is Colombia’s second Miss Universe.

Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, formerly known as Pia Romero (/wrtsbaek, -bk/; born September 24, 1989; Tagalog: [pj lns wutsbk]; German: [vtsbax]), is a Filipino-German model, actress, and beauty queen best known for winning the 2015 Miss Universe title.

Miss Universe 2016 — Iris Mittenaere, France

Iris Mittenaere, who was named Miss Universe 2016, is a French model, television host, and former winner of beauty pageants. She was born on January 25, 1993, and her French name is [iis mitna]. After Christiane Martel, who was chosen as Miss Universe in 1953, she is the second Miss Universe from France.

Miss Universe 2017 — Demi-Leigh Tebow, South Africa

South African model and beauty queen Demi-Leigh Tebow, formerly Nel-Peters, was named Miss Universe 2017 on June 28, 1995. She was named Miss South Africa 2017 and, along with Margaret Gardiner, who was awarded Miss Universe in 1978, is the second Miss Universe winner from South Africa.

Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray, a Filipino-Australian model, singer, beauty queen, television personality, youth advocate, and arts ambassador, was named Miss Universe 2018 on January 6, 1994 (Tagalog: [katjon]). This Filipina is the fourth to win the Miss Universe pageant.

Zozibini Tunzi, popularly known as Zozi Tunzi, is a South African model, actress, and previous Miss Universe winner. She was born on September 18, 1993. Miss South Africa 2019 had previously been awarded to Tunzi.

Miss Universe 2020 — Andrea Meza, Mexico

Alma Andrea Meza Carmona, a Mexican model and past winner of beauty pageants, was crowned Miss Universe 2020 on August 13, 1994. She became the third Miss Universe from Mexico after winning the title. Meza currently holds the title of Miss Universe with the shortest completed reign.

Miss Universe 2021 — Harnaaz Sandhu, India

Miss Universe 2021 is an Indian model, actor, and beauty pageant winner named Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu (born 3 March 2000). Sandhu is the third contestant from India to win Miss Universe; she was previously named Miss Diva Universe 2021.
