Arbaaz and Malaika Arora were married for 19 years till divorcing in 2016. They went through an official divorce in 2017. They have only one son, Arhaan. He married makeup artist Sshura Khan in December 2023 at his sister Arpita’s home in Mumbai. Malaika, on the other side, is currently seeing actor Arjun Kapoor.

“I don’t think there were too many women in the industry getting divorced and moving on when I decided to get divorced,” she stated in an interview with Pinkvilla. I believed that to make my child happy and allow him to thrive in his environment, I had to feel good about myself, my development, and my decision. That’s what I did, then.
She went on to add, that for her it is about being “settled and happy to make anyone around me happy. It starts with me.”
