The worst dressed at the 2023 MTV VMAs are listed here by Viral Strange, ranging from clashing patterns to X-rated ensembles to outrageous gowns.
1. Nicki Minaj wore an eccentric pink Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown with a see-through skirt, a lace veil, and a bustier bodice.
2. Ratajkowski sported a wavy chestnut hairstyle, stiletto shoes, a black glittery bag, and a beachy gown that exposed her belly.
3. Saweetie looked amazing in a pink sequin gown from Area’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection that included bone elements, a la Flintstones.
4. Doechii, 25, flaunted her sideboob in a skimpy black and white dress with side straps.
5. Anitta, 30, showed off her toned abs by wearing a two-toned Schiaparelli dress with a statement keyhole cutout.
6. Karol G wore a cream lace gown that was almost translucent, with a cream cloak that trailed behind.
7. 35-year-old Colton Haynes looked unsatisfactory wearing an ill-fitting white dress or tuxedo over a cream turtleneck sweater.
8. Doja Cat, 27, grabbed attention when she wore a skimpy spiderweb dress and went nude below.

Wearing a stunning red Oscar de la Renta gown, Selena Gomez made her way onto the pink carpet. Following the “barely there” trend, Gomez’s dress featured a high slit, a plunging balconette neckline, and was fully covered in floral appliqués. She wore a pair of strappy red heels, flowery diamond earrings, and a bare neck as her modest accessories.
The 30-year-old Tinashe made a bold statement in a black netted dress, covering her nipples and intimate regions with glossy black body tape.
The MTV VVMAs were held in Newark in 2023, and rap icon Nicki served as host for the second year in a row. Notably, this was the first time that a Tuesday was chosen for the ceremony. This global extravaganza pays homage to the best music videos from the previous year, featuring outstanding performances, heartfelt tributes, and prominent cameos from prominent figures in the music industry.
Taylor Swift led the field of nominees for the Artist of the Year category, which only included female performers. With a win this year, Taylor, who now holds the record for most victories, may raise it to four.
