There is now a cafe in Bihar where a cockroach on the signboard does not indicate that you should leave. It’s the emblem. Cockroach Cafe is a new restaurant in Nalanda, and because of its unique branding, it has quickly become a topic of conversation on the internet.
Thanks to footage posted by local vloggers, the cafe, which opened on July 27, has since gone viral. The videos provided a glimpse into the restaurant and the youthful patrons.
It’s difficult to ignore the name. Customers are greeted at the entry by a large sign that reads “Cockroach Cafe” and features a logo with a cockroach motif. On the inside, it appears to be a fairly standard hangout, with kids speaking, eating, and sitting around.
With most things costing less than Rs 100, the cafe offers well-known student favourites including Maggi, French fries, and tea. Students searching for a cheap spot to hang out with friends, grab a snack, or just spend some time together will find it very accessible due to its reasonably priced menu.
