We often discuss or suggest a well-liked film or television show to our friends after seeing it. Then, after yet another viewing, some of us are curious about the actors who played our favorite characters.

Jennette McCurdy — Samantha Puckett in iCarly

Jennette was nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2008 for her roles in iCarly and The Last Day of Summer on television. She began work on her debut album in 2008, and her first single, “So Near,” was released in 2009. Jennette released her EP a year later. McCurdy co-starred in the Nickelodeon series Sam & Cat with Ariana Grande in 2013. In 2014, she launched a new project on Vimeo called What’s Next for Sarah? She has been appearing in the Netflix drama series Between since 2015.

Jamie Lynn Spears — Jamie Spears in All That

Jamie made her acting debut in the drama Crossroads in 2002, alongside her sister Britney Spears. Jamie left All That after two seasons and joined Zoey 101, where she played a leading role. In the category of Outstanding Young Performer in a TV Series, she received a Young Artist Award and a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award in 2005. Jamie began working on her country music album after her older sister. Spears played at the Rutledge in Nashville in 2011. Jamie’s first single, “How Could I Want More,” was released in 2013, followed by “Sleepover” in 2016.

Matt Bennett — Robbie Shapiro in Victorious

Matt is best known for his roles in Victorious as Robbie Shapiro and The Big Bang Theory as Howard’s younger brother. He was nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award (UK) in Nick UK’s Funniest Person category in 2011. Matt’s first EP, Warm Fuzzies, was released in 2012. Bennett appeared in the films Game Shakers and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl in 2015.

Leon Thomas III — André Harris in Victorious

Leon has been in the music business since 2012, and on August 1, his birthday, he released his first mixtape, Metro Hearts. Thomas co-wrote “Ain’t No Other Me” for the British band Stooshe, as well as four songs for Ariana Grande’s 2013 release. He also formed The Rascals, a producing duo that won a Grammy. Wiz Khalifa also appeared in Leon’s single “Hello, How Are You?”

Drake Bell — Drake in Drake and Josh

Bell won the Blimp Award for Favorite TV Actor at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards while appearing in Drake and Josh. He also starred himself in Zoey 101 and won the Blimp Award for Favorite TV Actor at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He received this award three times, by the way. Drake’s debut album, Telegraph, was released in 2005 and featured his own songs. Drake Bell starred in the 2008 film Superhero Movie and appeared in the comedy College.

Josh Peck — Josh in Drake and Josh

Drake Bell and Josh starred in their own television movie, Drake & Josh Go Hollywood, in 2006, and a sequel, Drake & Josh: Very Big Shrimp, in 2007. Josh also directed Drake Bell’s music video for “Found a Way,” the title song from Drake & Josh. Peck made a guest appearance in Victorious in 2011. He appeared in the 1984 film Red Dawn, which was based on the same-named film. Peck had a starring role in the comedy series Grandfathered in 2015, and he starred in the FOX series Pitch in 2016, which was canceled after one season.

Casey Simpson — Ricky in Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn

Casey first appeared on Frank TV when he was three years old, and in 2016 and 2017, he was nominated for a Kids’ Choice Award. Casey also appeared in Demi Moore’s Lifetime film Five. On the musical, he has over 7 million followers. Casey Simpson is an award-nominated actor and singer who goes by the handle Casey Simpson on Instagram. He also raps and plays the piano.

Thomas Kuc — Hudson in Game Shakers

Thomas Kuc is a Brazilian actor who has appeared in a number of films. He speaks Polish, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, and English, among other languages. Thomas appeared in the films Game Shakers and The Diabolical in 2015.

Jace Norman — Henry in Henry Danger

Jace Lee Norman signed his first agent when he was 12 years old, and he debuted in Disney’s TV series Jessie in 2012. In 2013, he appeared in The Thundermans alongside Jack Griffo, and in 2015, he appeared in the comedy television film Splitting Adam. In 2016, he starred in the television film Rufus.

Melissa Joan Hart — Sabrina in Sabrina, The Teenage Witch

Melissa made her directorial debut in an episode of the Disney Channel series So Weird in 1999, in which her sister Emily appeared. Hart directed a Nickelodeon episode of Taina in 2001. She also directed six Sabrina episodes. Her first film, Mute, was released in 2005, and it starred her sister

Emma Roberts — Addie Singer in Unfabulous

Emma released her debut studio album, Unfabulous and More, in 2005, after starring in Unfabulous. Following that, Emma appeared in a number of films, including Nancy Drew (2007), Wild Child (2008), The Winning Season (2009), Valentine’s Day (2010), Scream 4 (2011), We’re the Millers (2013), and others.
