Syndactyly is the term for two toes fused together, and it is a condition that often runs in families. It must feel like a superpower if your child inherited it. People can have a distinguishing characteristic, and we feel that our distinctions are what make us unique, and that we should brazenly flaunt them.
“My joined-together toes were passed down to my son.”
Scrappy the cat, a black cat who started becoming white a few years ago, was born in 1997. (maybe from vitiligo).
We’ve never seen a lizard with two tails before!
“My eye was pierced by a nail. They sewed up the hole in my pupil by stretching it over it.”
“I was born with club thumbs that resemble large toes.”
“This patch of flesh on my body never tans or burns.” It’s been with me since I was born!”
“My girlfriend’s cat has two distinct coloured eyes, and when recorded, they reflect different colours.”
“I have a disease that causes my arches to be very high. They complement each other wonderfully, almost like yin and yang.”
“When I was a kid, I shattered my ring finger, and now it’s the only finger that doesn’t respond when it’s cold outside.”
This one-of-a-kind black and white squirrel.
“My girlfriend’s iris has freckles. They resemble marbles.”
“Let me introduce Tofu, my polydactyl cat with 24 toes!”
“My girlfriend has heterochromia.”
“In his ear, my cat has a heart-shaped birthmark.”
“These mutant daisies were discovered in my garden.”
Have you ever encountered someone who has a one-of-a-kind characteristic? Or do you have a unique aspect of yourself that you’d like to share with the rest of the world?
