They’re saying history is repeating itself. Oh, maybe it does – and it most certainly does, in the case of fashion from the 1990s. Clothes from 20 years ago are coming back easily, and if you haven’t seen them yet, just look at the pictures we’ve gathered, and you will.
High-waisted jeans
To appease many fashion fans, jeans with a high waist are coming back.
Ripped jeans
We were not afraid of falling off a bike or rollerskates in the ’90s, and rips on the knees were the fashion material, not a justification for punishment. You might also cut the pants that were torn off and wear them as shorts.
Small denim shorts
The best alternative for a hot summer, perhaps.
Denim overalls
Comfort fans have a great chance to return to their beloved overalls.
Denim vest
It’s time to blow the dust off our denim vests, it seems, too.
Denim jacket
The hit of the ’90s was the denim jacket. How have we been able for so many years to survive without it?
Black leather jacket
We figured out twenty-one years ago that a black leather jacket adds an interesting stripe to any picture.
Double denim
Yeah, we can wear our favorite jeans from head to toe again right now. No one’s going to look down at us anymore for wearing jeans with a denim shirt.
Checkered shirt
It became clear in the 1990s that checkered shirts didn’t just look good on men. We confirmed it again in 2016.
Crop top
One of the best pieces of clothing we have inherited from the ’90s is probably a crop top.
