Ravindra Jadeja: On December 6, 1988, in Navagam-Khed, Saurashtra, Ravindra Jadeja was born Ravindra Jadeja’s old photos. On his first visit to the impoverished town of Jamnagar 90 years ago, the king of Nawabnagar, one of the princely states in colonial India, called it an “evil slum” and decided to renovate it. However, a severe case of typhoid caused him to relocate to England, where his nephew assumed responsibility for creating the city.
The king, Kumar Ranjitsinhji, later rose to prominence as one of the greatest batters in history, representing England in 307 first-class matches and 15 Tests.

He used to get by each day on just 10 Rupees. His father, a watchman at a mall, had long wished for his son to enlist in the military. His mother was a nurse who invested a sizable portion of her income in Jadeja’s equipment.
At age 17, Jadeja lost his mother, which upset him to the point where he wanted to give up everything. But then he recalled his mother’s dying wish: for her son to wear the colours of the country. Jadeja is currently one of India’s top all-rounders.
Jadeja hails from a lowly upbringing. His cricketing prowess has captured the attention of the entire world. Only he has scored three first-class triple tonnes in cricket.
