Without a doubt, Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia Deshmukh are one of Bollywood’s cutest couples. They never fail to give us a couple and love goals with their gorgeous social media posts. Even when dealing with trolls, they have their own distinct way of doing things.
Arbaaz Khan’s chat programme Pinch recently included Riteish and his wife Genelia. Because the show’s theme is how trolling may harm one’s mental health, Arbaaz reads some unpleasant statements, which the guests must respond to.
As a reply, Arbaz read out a particularly venomous remark directed at Genelia.
“Besharam, cheap, vulgar aunty who is always overacting,” Dadi amma, it doesn’t suit your age and looks, especially now that you’re married with two children. Your overacting will surprise and embarrass even children. They’ll say things like, ‘Even we don’t act like this.'”
In reaction to this, Genelia said,
“I don’t think he’s having a particularly pleasant day at home.” Bhai Saab, I hope you’re doing well. “I hope you’re doing well at home.”
Riteish Deshmukh also spoke out against retaliating against trolls, saying,
“It’s fine if people criticise you because you’re putting yourself out there.” I don’t believe it is made to be offensive. I always write (to such trolls), and I adore you, my pal.”
Ritesh’s famous viral video with Preity Zinta was also brought up by Arbaaz Khan.
Riteish with Preity Zinta at an IIFA Awards green carpet event, which became a viral video, was also addressed by Arbaaz. When asked about the famous video in which Riteish was seen kissing Preity Zinta’s hands, Genelia’s facial expressions indicated that she didn’t approve of it, as well as supposedly gazing daggers at him. In response to the video, Genelia stated,
“Riteish and Preity were having a conversation and unfortunately cameraman ne mere expression le liye (the cameraman clicked my expression).”
In March of this year, Genelia broke her quiet on her concerns by sharing a funny video. The video was captioned sarcastically by Genelia, who said,
“Would you like to know what happened at home?”
She later revealed the true storey behind her appearance that night, saying,
“The true story is that I was at an award event and was quite well dressed, including wearing high heels.” However, I was meeting a lot of people and my feet were hurting. Unfortunately, the cameraman’s attention was drawn to me.”
Riteish was concentrated on Preity, so Arbaaz stepped in. Riteish kissed Genelia’s hands and stated he would do the same for her after hearing that.
Following that, Arbaaz read out some of the comments left by his fans on the video. One of the trolls told Genelia to “beat him with a slipper” in one of the remarks.
On this, Riteish said,
“Jhadoo ne kya bura kiya?
From another user,
“It’s entirely his fault.” He needs to spend more time with his wife.”
Riteish remarked, giggling,
“You focus on your wife, not mine.”
This reaction exemplifies why he is one of Bollywood’s most devoted lovers and once again gives us a couple of goals. After all these years, Arbaaz praised the pair, saying it was great to see remnants of possessiveness and jealousy. Riteish was not possessive, according to Genelia.
The popular Bollywood couple laughed at the trolls’ insults and declared that they don’t take it seriously.
