In her relatively short career, Riva Arora, a child actress who was cast in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar when she was just one and a half years old, has made significant progress in the industry.

She has appeared in a number of movies and television commercials over the years, including Mom, in which Sridevi starred, and in which she played Sridevi’s younger daughter; Uri: The Surgical Strike, in which Vicky Kaushal starred, and in which she played Vihaan’s niece Suhani Kashyap; and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, in which Janhvi Kapoor starred, and in which she played young Gunjan.

Additionally, she appeared in the Hollywood movie Best Friends in 2018. In addition to modelling for brands like Biba, Reliance Trendz, and Sportking, she made her television debut the same year with Papa Mere Hero Hiralal.

All we can conclude from her career is that she is not a fresh face in the business, and most of us are familiar with her from her time as a child actor. But for the same reason, she has recently come in for a lot of criticism. Riva, however, is well aware of how to deal with these kinds of trolls despite her youth.

So, let’s find out why she was trolled and how she reacted to the trolling:

Riva Arora was trolled for romancing with older-age celebs in the videos

Riva Arora, an actor and influencer who is 12 years old, is currently in the headlines, but not for the right reasons. Internet people find her videos offensive since they show her romancing older celebs like Mika Singh, 45, and Karan Kundrra, 38.

For instance, in the now-deleted reel, Riva and Karan Kundrra are seen interacting, with another male actor playing the part of Riva’s lover.

Soon after this, singer Mika Singh became the next target of trolling on social media

He was seen singing and dancing with the 12-year-old in the reel that is currently going viral. Social media users were irritated by it.

Many Twitter users stated that Riva’s mother was taking advantage of her by enabling her to appear in music videos with older men and releasing pictures of her dressed attractively. They pointed out that Riva’s social media profiles are run by her mother.

Riva Arora replies to trolls

Riva Arora, however, doesn’t seem to be affected by this intense trolling, as evidenced by the message about jealousy she recently posted on her Instagram account in the midst of all this drama.

Riva Arora (or rather, her mother) took multiple mirror selfies of herself while wearing an off-white top and blue shorts on her official Instagram account during the online trolling. She added a caption and an image, stating,

“Jealousy is the best compliment you can receive (sic).”

This seems to be a dig at those who criticise her.

She and her parents continue to face a lot of abuse on social media, though.
