In a poignant instalment of Rubina Dilaik’s podcast, former actress Sana Khan shared her account of her painful departure from the entertainment industry.
She is accepting spirituality. Sana, who is well-known for her time on Bigg Boss, sobbed as she discussed the significant change in her life and revealed the shame she still bears.
Sana remembered how she changed from being an ordinary girl who went to college in a salwar kameez to an elegant woman who appeared on stage in a backless gown.
“Mujhe samajh nahi araha tha, ke main ek gharelu ladki, salwar kameez pehenke, tel lagakar college jane wali, when did I reach this shortcut and backless stage, I couldn’t understand,” she shared tearfully. Looking back, Sana admitted that this stark contrast in her life often makes her cry, as the guilt of her choices weighs heavily on her.
As Rubina Dilaik comforted Sana, she gave her credit for accepting her spiritual path at such a young age.
Rubina said, “Jo aapne apnaya hai at an early stage, main ab jaake apna rahi hu,” referring to how Sana’s choice has influenced people, including herself.
Sana went on to discuss her bewilderment and dissatisfaction despite her accomplishments. She disclosed that she didn’t find enduring happiness in material belongings like a new car. Sana’s realisation that the path she was on didn’t line up with her Muslim values marked a turning point in her life. Realising the value of her faith, she decided to leave the glitzy world and concentrate on her spiritual health.
Watch out Here
“There were numerous items. Having been raised in a Muslim household, you are naturally aware of right and wrong. Any Muslim can tell you what is Haraam and Halaal. I was aware that what I was doing did not align with my religion.
There is a constant thrill, but it only lasts a short while. I purchased my car, but the joy subsided as soon as I got it. I couldn’t stop asking myself why I wasn’t happy. Although I appear cheerful on social media, I wasn’t pleased on the inside.
