1. Beverly Johnson

Beverly Johnson is an American supermodel, actress, and businesswoman. She was born on October 13, 1952, in Buffalo, New York. In the 1970s, Johnson became the first African-American model to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine, which was a groundbreaking achievement for the fashion industry at the time.
