Recently, a 35-year-old virgin woman shared her struggles with finding love and the ideal partner for herself.

Sonali Chandra is a 35-year-old model, dancer, and comedian of Indian descent who resides in New Jersey. Ms Chandra claims that the cause is that she is a virgin and has never engaged in s*xual activity with a male.

The native Indian told Daily Star that many of her suitors shy away from her since she has never had s*x with a guy before, which makes them uneasy.

The model insisted that she intended to remain strong and that she wouldn’t even think about sleeping with someone unless they put a ring on her finger.

“I believe that s*x is holy and unique. I actually prefer the term “making love” over the word “s*x,” she told the publication.

“I’ll be ready [to make love] when I have a ring from ‘the one.”

She grew up in a conservative home, according to Sonali, whose parents are from India and immigrated to the US before she was born. Although her family immigrated to America, they never acquired the ideals of normal Americans, who view casual “hookups” as nothing to worry about and instead clung to their heritage and traditions.

When she was a senior in high school, she claimed she was forbidden from hanging out with many boys. She did not go to her prom or go on any dates while in college.

“There is no doubt that my rigid upbringing has had a significant impact on my dating life. Dating was strictly forbidden, and I was not allowed to socialise,” she claimed.

“Dating is a life skill, and I was banned from acquiring that skill throughout my teenage and college years. In the moment, at the age of 35, I still have no idea how to date.

The New Jersey resident stated, “As an adult, I’ve always been frightened that I’ll run into a predator if I meet with a stranger. Instead, I work out every weeknight to avoid feeling lonely, and I stay home alone on Saturday and Sunday nights, which is incredibly dismal. I fall asleep by 8 p.m. to dull my emotional anguish.

Chandra disclosed that she recently participated in the reality dating programme “Five Guys a Week” in an effort to find the proper match. She left the show, however, without finding the “right man” because she was had to live with a different man each week in order to determine if he was the one.

I had never done anything like that before, so being on the show was a strange experience.

We lost access to our phones and laptops, 20 cameras were active around-the-clock, and we were constantly wearing microphones. We had no choice but to get to know one another because there was no TV or radio.

Without access to our phones, it was a lot of fun and peaceful to just enjoy the experience of finding love. This is the ideal dating scenario. I still believe that having s*x should wait until after marriage.

Sonali appeared on Dr. Phill Show in December 2020 and talked about her difficulties dating as a virgin.

She said, “I have only ‘dated’ nine men, including three long-term relationships, and all nine of them were jerks when they found out I was a virgin.

“Since I became well-known, a tonne of men have been in touch with me. Without ever having met me, they all declared their love for me and their desire to wed me. ”

The idea of stranger danger makes me afraid to reply to any of them.

Sonali is still optimistic about one day meeting her ideal mate despite her displeasure with dating and relationships. She aspires to find love like that of American musician Nick Jonas and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra.

I’m looking for good and ethical gentlemen that will treat me like a queen and who are also attractive, ambitious, and health-conscious.

“I want what Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have,” you say.
