They all love a good puzzle, aren’t they? But a lot of people are likely to be bad at it when it includes math, it’s just a fact of life. Math is the universally hated topic, and frankly, I agree with the frustrations of everyone about it.

People tried to find out the answer to an obviously simple puzzle on Twitter, only answering how many triangles are in a picture. That sounds simple, but so many individuals, including some of our favorite Bollywood stars, are failing spectacularly. Yes, even performers enjoy a complex puzzle, even though they suck at it, as has been shown recently.

The triangle puzzle in question is an old one, but when Jitesh Pillai, the editor of Filmfare magazine, tweeted it, it began to go viral again.

How many triangles are you capable of counting? Not that anyone cares, but I’d like to tell you that I got the right number and that was a personal accomplishment.

Many celebrities jumped in to take a shot at solving it, but, unfortunately, most of them struggled. Quickly, Sonam shared what she felt was the right answer. Little did she suspect, the mathematicians of Twitter had solved the puzzle already. The star replied with 7, but that’s less than half of the actual response. Uh, oops.

Sonam did not, to her credit, take trolling to her core. At least she’s self-conscious. We’ve got to give that to her.
