Airbnb lists the first house bought by Sridevi for its visitors

We now know of this amazing piece of news: Sridevi’s Chennai residence has been added to Airbnb’s new “Icons” list, one of the immensely popular rental and lodging apps. According to a People report, this implies that anyone can now reside in the elegantly furnished property. Brian Chesky, the CEO and co-founder of Airbnb, stated at the “Icons” launch:
“This is the most intimate access to the most famous family in Bollywood.”
According to the same story, guests staying one night at Sridevi’s house would also get to sample fresh, traditional South Indian cuisine and have talks with Janhvi about her go-to beauty tips. In addition to the only Indian property that Airbnb is renting, other iconic locations include the X-Men mansion in Westchester County, New York; Disney-Pixar’s Up (2009) in Abiquiu, New Mexico; Kevin Hart’s exclusive Coramino Live Lounge; a private Doja Cat performance; Prince’s famous Purple Rain house in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and the Inside Out headquarters.
A sneak peek into Sridevi’s first bought mansion in Chennai
In an interview with Vogue India in 2022, Janhvi Kapoor provided a virtual tour of Sridevi’s Chennai residence. We get a peek of the massive gate—which leads to a balcony with rich greenery—in the virtual tour. After that, Janhvi said in the interview with Vogue that because Sridevi was a “Vastu” believer, the main entrance to their Chennai home is located elsewhere. She then led us inside via a glass door into a hallway lined with numerous works of art. There are also some magnificent European chandeliers in the house.
The property then featured Boney Kapoor’s small office, which exuded an old-world elegance. Next was the living area, with its enormous Buddha artefacts, enormous ceramic vases, and much more. It also included a lovely L-shaped sofa. One of Janhvi’s favourite spots is a large beige couch in another room. On Chester drawers, it features eye-catching candlelight holders. Then, we noticed a grand staircase with a wall of mementoes and an enormous eight-seater dining table with exquisite china.
