Just a few days after one of Taylor Swift’s teenage admirers died from a heart attack due to the intense heat, an eerie video of the singer struggling for air while performing in Brazil went viral.
The 33-year-old singer of Bad Blood expressed her shock at the sudden death of 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides, who is said to have passed away suddenly last week while watching Swift play in the front row of the Estádio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro in temperatures as high as 60 degrees Celsius.
Recently, Swift’s concert film has surfaced from fans, displaying the horrifying effects of the intense heat.
The singer is seen gasping for air in the 13-second video following a passionate rendition of her famous song Bejewelled. It immediately prompted a barrage of responses from alarmed admirers, who said the singer was clearly in agony. Others cautioned her audiences to remain cautious when visiting her concerts in the sweltering heat.
It was published following Swift’s cancellation of her second Eras Tour stop in Brazil following Benevides’ passing. It’s thought that the young lady passed out before she died on Friday.
“I’m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium,” Swift stated in her announcement on Saturday regarding the cancellation of her second gig that night at the stadium. The severe heat in Rio has led to the decision to postpone tonight’s show.

“My fans, fellow performers, and crew members’ safety and well-being must always come first.” Since no further details were provided, it is unknown when the concert will take place.
Swift had earlier told fans via another Instagram Story that she was “overwhelmed” by the loss of Benevides.
“I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” the singer wrote in a letter she posted to her Instagram Stories about the incident.
“I am so devastated by this that words cannot express.”
Swift continued, saying that aside from the fact that the fan was extraordinarily gorgeous and way too young, she has “very little information” regarding her passing.
“I’m not going to be able to speak about this from the stage because when I even try to talk about it, I get overwhelmed with grief,” the woman stated.
