Mrunal Thakur, an Indian actress, has had a surge in popularity in recent years, especially since the release of her most recent film, Dhamaka, in which she co-starred with Kartik Aaryan.

The actress, who has primarily worked in Hindi and Marathi films, is set to make her Bollywood debut in the upcoming film Jersey, in which she will star alongside Shahid Kapoor.

While fans are normally quite supportive of artists and actresses on social media, there are moments when certain followers go too far.

Mrunal Thakur trolled in what was a perfect case of body-shaming

This is exactly what occurred to Mrunal, who was actually trolled in what was a textbook case of body shaming.

Mrunal had actually posted a video of herself doing kickboxing, a high-adrenaline activity.

Mrunal was doing the same thing as many Bollywood stars like Disha Patani and others who use the sport to stay fit and in shape for future roles in movies and web series.

Mrunal was seen going out with her trainer in the video, describing the entire exercise as a regular day.’

Many celebs, including Tamannaah Bhatia, Mahima Makwana, and Made In Heaven actor Sobhita Dhulipala, praised her in the comments section shortly after the video was released.

Unfortunately for Mrunal, a small group of people couldn’t stop themselves from making cheap body-shaming comments.

One wrote,

“Reduce the lower part natural looks better too fat illusion”

This might easily lead to a celebrity losing their cool, but Mrunal, who is known for refusing to take crap from anyone, handled it wonderfully.

The actress commented on her Instagram story about the statement, “

“Some pay for it, some have it naturally all we gotta do is flaunt buddy! You flaunt yours too”.

That, however, was not the case.

One user even went so far as to remark something obscene about the actress.

 “Back is like…MATKAA”

To this, Mrunal sarcastically wrote,

“Thank you bhaiyya ji”

Later, the actress was seen sharing another Instagram story to express her feelings about the whole body shaming scenario.

“Do you have any idea how hard I work to be fit? It’s my body type and I can’t really do anything. Soo, ALL I gotta do is FLAUNT.”

“BUTT I’m Happy”

In the interim, this should obviously stop the remarks.

This might have gone another way, but Mrunal took the high road and responded in a courteous manner to such heinous uninvited remarks.
