Video captures the unpleasant encounter
The video, which was posted on X (previously Twitter) on Wednesday, shows a heated conversation between two guys on an Indian train. The user is identified as Ghar Ke Kalesh (@gharkekalesh). The description of the post states that when a man who didn’t have a reservation persisted on sitting in a reserved seat, there was an argument. “Verbal kalesh b/w passengers inside Indian Railways over the guy in white shirt didn’t have a reserved seat but he wanted to occupy one,” the description reads.
The man is seen in the video requesting a seat from another passenger while riding in the sleeper carriage without a reserved ticket. A heated argument results from the reserved seat holder, who is sat on the side upper berth, refusing to give way.
The second passenger calmly responds that he has reserved the seat to travel comfortably when the man without the reservation asks him sarcastically if he intends to take the seat home with him. Look for an empty seat if you’d like one. He answers, “Why do people reserve tickets in advance?
