The Hindi film industry, also known as Bollywood, is infamous for having a lot of ego clashes between the greatest performers in the industry.
There are conflicts or fights between stars on practically every level, whether it’s between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, or between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan were involved in one such incident, or rather, a series of instances.
If you’ve been following all the Bollywood gossip over the years, you’ll know that Salman and Hrithik aren’t exactly great buddies.
According to accounts, there is still friction between the two, despite the lack of evident feistiness.
One instance was when Salman reportedly quipped, “Arre, usme toh makhi udd rahi thi, lekin koi machhar bhi nahi gaya dekhne,” in response to Hrithik’s Guzaarish flick. Arre, koi kutta bhi nahin gaya (In the film, there was a fly buzzing around, but not even a mosquito came to see it.) There wasn’t even a dog there to observe it).”
That obviously didn’t sit well with Hrithik, who responded in a later interview. While this was most likely resolved between the two, Salman apparently had an instruction for Hrithik in relation to Katrina Kaif just a few years later.
Katrina, who had previously been in a romance with Salman, was reportedly seeing Ranbir Kapoor at the time.
During the same time, Salman made his debut appearance on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan, when he was asked about Ranbir and Katrina’s relationship, according to sources. Karan asked Salman what advise he’d give to a specific celebrity in a rapid-fire round, with names like Ranbir, Katrina, and Hrithik all coming up.
“Have fun,” Salman remarked when asked what he’d tell Ranbir. “Make sure he (Ranbir) doesn’t have fun!” Salman stated when asked for advise for Katrina. Finally, when it came to providing Hrithik advise, Salman told him, “You keep out of this.”
This was most likely in reference to Hrithik not intervening in Ranbir and Katrina’s relationship, according to reports.
While this happened a few years ago, it has recently been announced that Hrithik will star with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in a new spy film series.
