India’s cricket players are incredibly talented, as evidenced by their recent spectacular Champions Trophy success. But special recognition should go to head coach Gautam Gambhir for leading the team to victory. Following the tournament’s successful conclusion, Gambhir had some well-earned time off with his family. When he posted a glimpse of his holiday, Yuvraj Singh noticed and commented on it in a hilarious way. An understatement would be to say that the post has gone viral.
A humorous social media event restored the unique friendship between Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir.
Even after their playing careers are over, the unique bond between former Indian cricket players Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir remains strong. Both played a key role in India’s triumphant 2011 World Cup campaign, and their on-field collaboration was truly exceptional.
This bond was just renewed on social media in the funniest way possible. Gautam Gambhir had a well-earned holiday to France with his wife Natasha and their two kids, Aazeen and Anaiza, following the conclusion of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He posted a beautiful photo of himself and his wife on Instagram on their trip.
Known for his sense of humour, Yuvraj Singh left a comment on the page in his usual light-hearted way,
“Tu na Hasio GG (You just won’t laugh/smile, GG)”
Check it out,
He added a playful emoji as he wrote this. The remark was humorous and did in fact highlight their friendship’s light-hearted side.
Gautam Gambhir’s approval of Yuvraj’s remark, a modest but meaningful act that demonstrated the closeness of their connection, adds even more significance to this occasion.
India’s Champions Trophy winning streak and forthcoming red-ball tour to England
Unbeaten during the competition, India had an incredible and fruitful run in the Champions Trophy. The men in blue extended their impressive play by eliminating Australia in the semifinals after defeating Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand in their group stage matches.
At the Dubai International Stadium, India defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the final to win the championship. It was a whole team performance that demonstrated India’s power and reliability in every facet of the match.
The next red-ball tour to England, where they will begin a five-test match series on June 20, will be India’s next test. As the team moves from limited-overs cricket to the more conventional style, this will be a critical test. The team, led by Gautam Gambhir, will ideally continue to build on their Champions Trophy victory in the forthcoming series against England.
