Duct taping your feet

Because military shoes can be uncomfortable, this hack was created to assist prevent blisters, hot areas, and other issues. You can do it if you can run large distances for lengthy periods of time. Simply apply duct tape on the areas of your foot that rub the most against the shoe. You can also use a Band-Aid to cover the wound.

Tie the knot

Tie some knots up along the laces — in the middle if you don’t want it to move, and closer to the ends if you want the bow to stay in place — to keep those enormous shoes from untying for long periods of time or the laces from getting off-center.

In an emergency, women’s maxi pads can be used to stop a person from bleeding out from a wound. Cover the wound with a maxi pad and secure it with duct tape. You can also use maxi pads to make the soles of your shoes warmer and absorb sweat.

Did you know that sprinkling sugar on wounds can stop bacteria from multiplying? Bacteria cannot survive in a high sugar environment, so you can use sugar paste or plain sugar to cover the wound. Cover it up until you can get more severe first aid.

Shine bright like a diamond

When it comes to those gleaming army shoes, there is a very specific hack. Apply a sufficient amount of shoe shine to your shoes or boots and leave for 10-15 minutes to dry. Then, using a lighter, a flame, or a heat gun, walk over the covered area and watch it turn shiny. Polish the surface with a clean, slightly damp cloth or rag as a final touch.
