Chessie King, a well-known blogger, undertook an experiment on Instagram in which she posted shots of herself using several photo and video editors and entirely transformed her appearance based on her followers’ suggestions. The eventual result was a complete shock.
Chessie used to be proud of her ability to avoid eating temptations five years ago. She went to the gym on an empty stomach for hours and was very underweight. Chessie now enjoys both food and her body. But it’s difficult to fulfil everyone’s unhealthy standards, and she’s constantly berated for her weight and appearance on the internet. Chessie decided to do an experiment with the support of Cybersmile, an organisation that opposes online abuse, and become “perfect” for all of her followers.
She first shared a video on Instagram in which she appeared in her underpants. It was amazing, she remarked, to be unconcerned with what others had to say. Some others even called her overweight in the comments.
Chessie “improved” her “flaws” by posting a photo of herself with a slim waist.
However, due of Chessie’s “large arms,” netizens didn’t appreciate that shot either. As a result, she shared a selfie of herself with slender hands.
Her fans didn’t appreciate her “huge legs” this time, so she modified the circumstances.
When people began to criticise her “bushy eyebrows,” Chessie made the decision to remove them.
However, it was ineffective. Chessie’s nose, eyes, hair, and buttocks continued to be criticised, so she tried to fix everything they wanted.
People complained that the girl’s lips had become overly large as a result of the comments. Instagram users said she was still ugly no matter what she changed.
After all of the alterations, this is how the girl looked. “If we changed our bodies for every troll, listened to every cyber bully, we would be monsters,” Chessie said in her video.
