7 Tested Methods to Prevent Excessive Sweating


Despite possessing a variety of tools to combat perspiration and body odour, we still have to deal with wet spots under our arms from time to time, whether due to physical exercise, tension, or heat, and the odour they emit is nothing like roses.

7. Non-soap hand cleanser

If your sweat has already begun to smell and you won’t be able to take a shower, rub your armpits gently. Then, instead of soap, use a non-soap hand cleanser.

Throughout the day, hydrogen peroxide fights germs and helps to avoid harmful odours. Mix 1 teaspoon hydrogen peroxide with a cup of water, then apply with a washcloth to your face.

5. Oakbark

Oak bark is thought to be a good treatment for excessive sweating. You can use the following to take a bath in it:

  • ten to fifteen soup spoons of oak tree bark
  • 6 quarts water

Boil the water for 2-3 minutes after adding the bark, then filter it. After that, you take a bath in it.

4. Potassium alum

Traditional antiperspirants have a natural counterpart in the crystal deodorant. Potassium alum, which has antimicrobial properties, is present. To use the crystal, wet it with water and rub it between your armpits. It doesn’t clog pores and lasts for a long time.

3. Aluminum compounds


If you’re sweating excessively, look for antiperspirants that contain aluminium compounds. They have a huge impact on sweating. While many people have learned that they can cause other illnesses, science has yet to confirm this.

You will get a botulinum toxin injection if you have wet armpits on a regular basis. It’s used to treat hyperhidrosis, a condition characterised by excessive sweating. The toxin prevents sweat glands from secreting sweat by blocking nerve impulses leading to them. The injection’s effect lasts for 4 to 12 months.

When antiperspirants are ineffective, you can consult your doctor to determine the cause. The sweat glands should be treated with a laser if the condition is hyperhidrosis, as this decreases their functionality.

Sweating profusely can also be a sign of a serious illness. Consult a doctor if you find you’re sweating more than normal.
