Every great actor and actress who has ever been in an adventure picture has had a stunt double, a woman or man with magical skills who can make jumping out of a building, hopping from vehicle to vehicle, or battle sequences like the one in Kill Bill look easy.
It’s no surprise that stunt doubles enjoy extended careers as members of a star actor’s “support crew,” as they become indispensable in leading roles for years on end. The fun part is that as a double, they have to look like one.

Although stunt performing has captured the imagination of many, few of us truly understand how it works in practice. So when I asked Kurt how they cast stunt doubles, he said, “They cast stunt doubles.” “First, we can inquire if the actor works with somebody who has previously doubled them. Otherwise, we’ll know the performers’ heights, weights, and genders, as well as the action in the screenplay, which will influence the skills required,” he stated.

5. On the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, Tom Hardy poses with his stunt double.
“When stunt coordinators are seeking for doubles, stunt people can submit their details in periodicals. So this is yet another way to find a double.”
According to Kurt, any action scene in a film necessitates the use of a stunt double. “Not only for doubles but also for developing the action, whether it’s through pre-vis or testing particular manoeuvres that can be choreographed for the actor to perform safely.”
6. Lynda Carter with her Wonder Woman impersonator Jeannie Epper is a writer.
7. Why settle for one Thor when two are available? Chris Hemsworth’s equally hot stunt double demonstrates how he achieves godlike abs.
Kurt grew up practising extreme activities and was ready for anything when he arrived on set, having done hang gliding, scuba diving, motocross, desert racing, drag racing (motorcycle and vehicle), horseback riding, and having an engineering background. It was a natural progression from there to stunt work.
Even the most dangerous acts, such as steep falls, descender falls, vehicle and motorcycle collisions, and being roasted alive, were no match for him. It’s no surprise that he rapidly became a full-time stuntman.
