Actor Aditi Rao Hydari of Bollywood has discussed her experiences working with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. She has lauded Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who directed Padmavat and is currently starring in Heeramandi. Aditi revealed in an interview with Humans of Bombay that she had concluded a romantic affair with Mani Ratnam and that she had ended up on Sanjay’s set three days later. It was amazing, she said, and overpowering.
“Three days after I wrapped up filming a love story with Mani Ratnam, I was on Sanjay’s set,” Aditi stated. Naturally, as soon as I stepped onto the set, I was enthralled, thinking, “What is this world?” Amazing. I felt completely overpowered.
She had known Ranveer Singh since their earliest days in the business, and they shared a scene on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s set. “‘Adu, you realise you’re living the dream, right?’ remarked Ranveer to me. He shook me as we transitioned from Mani Ratnam’s set to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, and I realised, “You’re right, you’re right.” It was astounding.
Aditi was as gushing when discussing her collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor on Rockstar. But it was crazy working with Ranbir. He’s amazing, really, very amazing. He’s incredibly present and one of my favourite actors. You can be persuaded of anything by him.
She also discussed her collaboration with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on the film Wazir, directed by Bejoy Nambiar. “I was jumping up and down when I was told that I would be doing Wazir,” she added, describing it as an incredible chance. I never imagined that I would have the chance to collaborate with him. Being with him was amazing. The level of craziness is beyond words. In an interview with Humans of Bombay, she said, “He has this presence… you feel like standing up as soon as he walks into a room.” “But he also has this amazing childlike excitement when he’s on the set,” she continued.
