The lifeless remains of Akanksha Dubey, a Bhojpuri actress, were discovered at Hotel Somendra located in Buddha City Colony, Sarnath. She was 25 years old and hailed from Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh. Her family members reside in Mumbai. Akanksha had come to Banaras for a shoot, and on that day, the shooting took place in Nati Imli. Director Vikas had contacted the make-up artist, Rahul, to get things ready for the shoot.
I knocked on the door but it remained shut, and even after calling out, I didn’t receive any response. Finally, the hotel staff used a master key to unlock the door and discovered a shocking sight – the body of a person hanging from the ceiling fan wearing a scarf.
