Netizens criticised Ameesha for reacting to the obscene photographs, which were not even from Gadar 2 after Simrat’s earlier teasing of them had subsided, so her defence backfired.
Simrat’s supporters accused her of causing her to become the focus of trolls once more. Ameesha posted her personal sequences in response to critics who had questioned and criticised Simrat Kaur’s casting in Gadar 2. She stated in her first tweet,
“Spent the entire evening today defending the negativity surrounding Simrat Kaur who is paired opposite Utkarsh Sharma in GADAR 2!! Being a girl I request all to only spread positivity and not shame a girl! Let’s encourage new talent!!”
Netizens began condemning her for bringing up the matter once more in public and accusing her of doing this to promote her movie.
Ameesha continued and clarified by sharing those private moments with Simrat. This infuriated folks even more. Later, the actress removed the tweet.

“Dear @ameesha_patel mam, We fans of @iamsunnydeol sir & you are very worried seeing all these cheap and sleazy videos and images of the girl @simratkaur_16 who is opposite @iutkarsharma in #Gadar2. How can @Anilsharma_dir cast her in a clean film like #Gadar2 when she has done such cheap work?”
To this Ameesha replied,
“Hey my lovely fans!! Pls stop speculating!! Humbly request you to watch Gadar 2 in the theatres on August 11 and give it all ur love !!”
Additionally, it appears that the actress reacted to the since-deleted tweet many times with identical comments.

He is the young actor who portrayed Charanjeet “Jeete” Singh, the son of Tara Singh and Sakina, in the original 2012 version of Gadar. The filmmaker Anil Sharma’s son is Utkarsh Sharma.
