Akshay Kumar had not long ago compared Housefull franchise to cult Avengers. “I believe it’s going to be our own version of Avengers but it’s going to be a comedy Avengers,” he said talking about how he’s going to put all the primary actors from the movie’s earlier parts into one script.

People then had not responded as strongly. Recently, though, when Ananya Panday said her father Chunky Panday looks like Tony Stark, people thought the joke was stretched a little too far. Trolling started almost straight away.

Ananya Panday had her father Chunkey Pandey and Farah Khan pictured. All was okay until people read the caption that said, “Posing with Tony Stark and the hottest principal EVER!!! Thank you for having us on # BackBenchers @farahkhankunder.

Chunky Panday actually sports the Tony Stark goatee on the video. But it amazed the fans to compare him to the legend or even to hint that he looks like him.

While Bhum Pednekar, who is also the co-star of Ananya Panday in Pati Patni Aur Woh, wrote “OMG same Tony Stark” on the video, and Chunky Panday himself wrote, “Ha Ha Ha Tony Stark and #irongirls congratulations @ananyapanday on winning tonight.”

Some of them expressed happiness that, to see this, Tony Stark was not alive. “Thank god Tony died before he could see this,” wrote one of the Twitter users.

In Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film series, Tony Stark is a character played by Robert Downey Jr. for the unversed.

For a strange reference, this is not the first time a Bollywood star has been trolled out. After the great success of Joaquin Phoenix starrer movie, Janhvi Kapoor expressed her wish to play a female Joker, she became a target of the trolls too.

“I ‘d love to be playing a female character that’s just as uninhibited as the Joker … Times are changing, but I still think we need a little less healthy role for women. In the Indian context, the best such role I can think of is the one Nutan plays in Bandini, “she had said.

Meanwhile, next in Pati Patni Aur Woh, which is scheduled to be released on Dec 6, Ananya Panday said to IANS, “I think remakes are a lot of fun. We added our own tadka to it and in the present time made it modern and relatable. Even a college student may relate to feeling stuck in a relationship with someone else and liking someone else, or having feelings for different people. It’s a very common feeling I believe. I think it appeals to everyone. I was having a lot of fun shooting the film and I hope it’s translating on the computer.
