8 Awkward Situations Celebrities Got Into That Didn’t Even Cause Them to Miss a Beat

We’ve each been in a situation we’d rather not tell others about. But forgetting about it is much easier for us as ordinary people because it is only us and a couple of witnesses who know about those awkward moments. Although celebrities, recognizable to the whole world, can find it harder to do so. So the main thing is to keep a sense of humour and remind yourself that everything is going to pass.

Meryl Streep lost her shoe.

The actress has been awarded a BAFTA award for her role in The Iron Lady as Margaret Thatcher. As Meryl stepped up to receive the prize, though, her shoe had a mind of its own. The good thing is that Colin Firth, being a real prince, gave the runaway shoe back to the celebrity’s foot while kneeling on one knee. Streep only gave Firth a kiss because of her inappropriate feelings.

Tom Hanks is teased by his fans.

Tom Hanks and TV host Graham Norton participated in the following amusing dialogue: Graham: What do people usually say to you when they see you on the street?
Tom: Oh, they used to shout “Houston, we’ve got a problem!”And” Hide, Run, Run!”-It is a biggie. But now they’re just screaming, “Wiiiilsoooon!”It’s all about the ball-the character’s friend played by the actor in the Cast Away movie.

Samuel L. Jackson was mistaken for his colleague Laurence Fishburne.

A news host (we hope so) accidentally mixed up the actors on live TV. Samuel L. Jackson wore a T-shirt after this shocking episode, saying “I’m not Laurence Fishburne.” Only in case.

Katy Perry wasn’t able to walk on stage after she jumped into a creamy cake.

The 2008 Latin American MTV Awards ceremony was supposed to be hot — Katy was supposed to jump out of a cake, but for the singer, this seemed too trivial and she decided to jump on it. Well, that might have been a cool idea, but there was one “but.” Katy’s cream was too slippery and kept falling, so she turned her performance into slapstick comedy instead.

Meghan Markle forgot to remove the tag from her new dress.

On her flight from Fiji to the Kingdom of Tonga, Meghan Markle’s personal stylists and assistants apparently did not have enough time to make the duchess up properly, so Meghan appeared in public with a tag at the bottom of her dress. This is trivial, of course, and with a smile, many people remember the mistake.

Someone stole nuts from Elizabeth II.

The royal guard encroached on nuts intended for the royal family (it is customary to leave cups in the corridors and personal chambers in Buckingham Palace with cashew nuts and almonds.) The queen noticed, however, that these delicious snacks were disappearing at a rapid pace and she was so annoyed that she began to mark the cups. It all ended when the court administration asked the guards to officially restrict themselves from eating those nuts.

Robert Pattinson was dumped by a fan.

Even a handsome guy like Pattinson can have dates that were disappointing. A fan of his followed him everywhere, Robert says, and when he spotted her in his apartment, he invited her to a restaurant once more. The girl disappeared after a brief date where Robert kept complaining about how tough his life was.

Daniel Radcliffe was mistaken for a homeless guy.

The famous actor shared an interesting story that made him more careful about the clothes he wears and, in general, more care about his appearance. As he walked the dog with his mother, she went into a shop leaving him outside for a while. It was freezing and the dog trying to warm the animal up knelt down by Daniel. Some passer-by approached Radcliffe at that moment and offered him $5 saying “Get yourself a cup, buddy.”
