Shama made fun of Rohit’s body in her since-deleted tweet, claiming that he “needs to lose weight” and that he was “fat for a sportsman.” Furthermore, she called him “the most unimpressive Indian captain.”

She further mentioned,
“What is so world class about him when compared to his predecessors like Ganguly, Tendulkar, Dravid, Dhoni, Kohli, Kapil Dev, Shastri & the rest! He is a mediocre captain as well as a mediocre player who got lucky to be the captain of India.”
In addition to body-shaming the cricket player, her comment called into question his leadership skills, which many fans felt was inappropriate given Rohit’s outstanding achievements to Indian cricket.
